目の上のたんこぶ
⇒何かと目障りであったり、じゃまになったりするもの
a constant hindrance / a thorn in one's side / a pain in the neck
・英英定義 hindrance: something which makes it more difficult for you to do something or for something to develop
例文 I've never considered my disability a hindrance, but other people have. (CALD)
