serious
serious はもちろん、真剣さやまじめさを表す使い方が頻度が高いのですが、serious money という表現があります。ここでの serious
extreme in degree or amount - CALD
という意味で、serious money は「大金」ということです。
In industry, you can earn serious money. - LDCE

have had it
「もうがまんならない、もう十分だ」の他に、「もはやこれまでだ、もうだめだ」という意味でも使われます。
I'm afraid he's had it; nobody will employ him at his age.
(彼はだめだと思う。あの年ではだれも雇ってくれないだろう)- SAEJD

痛い
日本語の「痛い」は形容詞ですが、英語では「体の部位が痛む」と考えて hurtache という動詞を用いたり、人を主語にして「人が体の部位に痛みをもっている」と考えて<have an ache [a pain] in ...>の形で名詞を用いたりして表すことが多いです。
His feet were aching from standing so long. - LDCE
I had a nasty pain in my leg. - LDCE

cut out
cut out を使った表現に be cut out for があります。これは
to have the qualities that you need for a particular job or activity - LDCE
つまり、「人が生まれつき仕事などに向いている」という意味です。通例否定文や疑問文で用いられます。
In the end, I decided I wasn't cut out for the army. - LDCE

beyond
beyond somebody は「難しすぎて人には理解できない」ということですが、beyond は「…できないほど」という意味でさまざまな表現を作ります。
The beauty of the landscape was beyond description.
(その風景はことばでは言い尽くせないほど美しいものだった)- SAEJD
He had changed beyond recognition.
(彼は見分けがつかないほど変ぼうしていた)- SAEJD

remind
reminder をつけた reminder という名詞は「思い出させるもの」⇒「思い出させるための注意」「催促状」といった意味で用いられます。
He sent me a reminder that my rent was due.
(彼は私に家賃の支払い期日がきていると催促状をよこした)- SAEJD

be in trouble
be in trouble の定義の一つとして LDCE には
if someone is in trouble, they have done something which someone will punish them for or be angry about
とあります。つまり、be in trouble は、何か悪いことをして警察に捕まったり、上司や先生などの権力者に見つかったりして「困っている」場合に使われます。
We'll be in big trouble if Mr. Elliott finds out. - LDCE

人のせい
「人のせいである」は fault の他に blame を用いて表すことができます。fault は<be somebody's fault>、blame は<somebody is to blame>の形で使います。
We didn't think that it was our fault. / We didn't think that we were to blame. - LDCE
